Rent Tycoons provides the platform that enables individuals and businesses to rent items and services to/from each other. Through this online rental marketplace, Rent Tycoons aims to grow the practice of peer-to-peer renting in Singapore and build a community of individuals with the heart to adopt green practices as an integral part of their daily lives.
Founder and CEO of Rent Tycoons, Mr Swito Yuber, strongly believes that collaborative consumption is a way of building environmentally sustainable communities. Observing a hike in the awareness of being green in Singapore, Swito tapped on the opportunity to turn knowledge into action. He said, "Learning the importance of being green is the first step. We must take actions to embrace environmentally friendly lifestyles. Rent Tycoons makes collaborative consumption possible. It is a simple green idea which has a big impact; it adds a whole new dimension to renting in Singapore."
Together with his co-founder, Fenni Wang, the duo brought their ideas to life after obtaining funding support from SPRING Singapore. "Achieving the YES! Start-ups funding was a great start for us...it affirmed that our business idea is innovative. Our portal incorporates innovative elements specially designed to facilitate rental activities and transactions between individuals," said Fenni.
Both are under the guidance of their business mentor, Mr Boyd Au, a successful entrepreneur with a 25-year proven track record. Boyd's mentorship facilitated the start-up process of Rent Tycoons.
